What is real Entertainment?

Entertainment can be one of two things, or a combo of both. It can be an experience, or it's really a business. As an experience, you can become interested or diverted through performance, or by other means, e. g. a cross-word puzzle or any other game. As a business, one may become included in an industry known as the entertainment industry.

The entertainment industry, along with media, is a multi-trillion dollar business that showcases the work, services, talent, and imagination of a humongous cross-spectrum of commerce. This industry, built on the strength of live performing arts and show business, is broadened into a convergence of three sub-industries, traditional live entertainment industry, mass media industry, and digital entertainment.
The entertainment industry is highly infused by the mass media companies that control the division and manufacturing of mass media entertainment. Mass media is often called entertainment media. It is made up of the film industry, including film studios, movie theaters, film scores; transmitting systems, including television, a radio station, and podcast; the music industry, including record brands, music video. Then there are the theme park systems; discotheques; new media, including web television set and web radio; and the fashion industry.
You will find at least six different kinds of traditional live entertainment industries including the circus, musical cinema, performance art, comedy, sports activities, and concerts. There is also the background music industry, which is composed of composers and song writers, orchestras, and concert halls. And finally, within the traditional live entertainment, there's exhibition entertainment including amusement parks, funfairs, styled retail, and trade shows.

The latest industry and most effective growing sector of entertainment to emerge is electronic entertainment, also known as digital entertainment today. This industry includes video games, and SMS content, including music, books, movies, television, a radio station|, and internet, video games transferred through cell phones, smart phones, iPods, and other mobile communication systems. The electronic entertainment ties to social networking sites like Face book, Twitter, and LinkedIn is transforming the habit of consumers and world at large in the way you communicate and spend our time in our business and our personal lives. The Google+ project, launched come early July , is now the most effective growing social network ever--even outpacing Face book (now at 350 million members), Twitter and MySpace-with already more than 25000 members.

With all this being said, entertainment has its good side. Entertainment, as an experience, can be fun and satisfying to our souls, or our well being. Entertainment can weigh high in emotions, taking all of us to a place of sadness or joy and happiness. So we can say Entertainment is an emotion.
